Private by design

Theins handles the parts of your life you'd hand to a trusted assistant. Here is exactly how it keeps them private, in plain words.

Your secrets have their own lock

  • Your cards, passports and saved logins are sealed with an encryption key that belongs to you alone (AES-256-GCM, a separate key for every member). Your vault opens only with your passkey.
  • A sealed item copied into anyone else’s account will not open.
  • A card is unlocked only for the purchase you said yes to, then dropped. Its number never appears in a text.

Never asked for in a text

  • Theins never asks for a password, card or document by text. They go through a secure form linked from your thread.
  • Every time Theins uses something from your vault, it shows in Recent activity on your account.
  • Card numbers and street addresses you text are removed from the stored conversation.

Kept out of sight

  • Bookings run in a fresh, private browser session. Tasks that use your own sign-in run in a session kept for you alone. Screen recording is always off.
  • Our system logs are built to record what happened, not what you said.
  • Nothing is sold, rented or shared with advertisers or data brokers. The AI providers that help answer you may not use your data for their own purposes.

Always yours

  • Delete your account from your account page, and your number, texts, saved facts, connected mailbox and bank links go with it. Text STOP to stop every text without deleting anything.
